Money Smart for Small Business Program

Come learn how to strengthen your skills in financial management, tax planning and reporting, record keeping, etc. DCRA’s Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) has collaborated with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC), Money Smart for Small Business Program to provide sessions to individuals who want to develop and hone their skills in running a business.

During these workshops  staff from DCRA in the Corporations division and SBRC, the Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), the Office  Chief Financial Officer Office (OCFO) and representatives from Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) will help individuals gain a better understanding of basic business development tools that are designed to help educate small business owners:

   •Organizational Types & Tax Planning and Reporting
   •Time Management & Record Keeping
