Get a weighing and measuring device inspected for proper calibration and accurate display.
Roadmap
To obtain a Weights and Measures Certificate, you will need to:
- Submit a Weights and Measures Device Registration Application, Weights and Measures Clean Hands, and certificate fee payable to "D.C. Treasurer.
- Schedule an inspection with the Weights and Measures Division, (202) 698-2130 or visit DCRA at 1100 4th Street, SW, 2nd Floor, Washington, DC 20024.
The certification period is from October 1st through September 30th of any given year.
