Car Order and Bill of Sale and/or Conditional Sales Contract - Definition

A Car Order and Bill of Sale and/or Conditional Sales Contract is a signed agreement between the seller and the buyer upon purchase of a motor vehicle. All applicants applying for a Basic Business License for the Motor Vehicle Dealer category must provide a blank pre-printed sample set of the Car Order and Bill of Sale and/or Conditional Sales Contract containing the organization’s name, premise address, and telephone number. The forms must be typewritten and submitted in triplicate per D.C. Municipal Regulations, Title 18, Chapter 5; Title 16, Chapter 3.
