Boiler Inspection - Definition
A Boiler Inspection is an annual review of boilers and unfired pressure vessels conducted by an Inspections and Compliance Administration's Inspector or by Boiler Insurance Companies licensed by the District of Columbia. All applicants for a Basic Business License for the Dry Cleaner category must provide a copy of recent Certificate of Inspection for the Class 5A Steam Operator Engineer. The approved inspection must be dated within one year of application date. An inspection can be obtained by scheduling an appointment with a DCRA inspector at (202) 442-9557 or through Boiler Insurance Companies licensed by the District of Columbia.
