Professional Fundraisers or Solicitors - Definition

A Professional Fundraiser or Solicitor is a person who conducts, advises, and consults on behalf of the charitable organization and who is contracted to take receipt of charitable donations or contributions made to the charitable organization. If applicable, an applicant for a Basic Business License for the Charitable Solicitation category must provide a copy of the contract, if any, made by or on behalf of each applicant with each professional fundraiser and professional solicitor.
