Moving and Storage Contract - Definition

A Moving and Storage Contract is a written and signed agreement between a moving company and its customer to move household goods from a specified dwelling or storage place to another specified dwelling or storage place. All applicants for a Basic Business License for the Moving and Storage category must submit two (2) pre-printed sample contracts in at least triplicate form, which shall comply with D.C. Official Code 47-2831; 47-2851 and D.C. Municipal Regulations Title 16, Chapter 7.
