Home Improvement Salesperson Designation Letter - Definition

Home Improvement Designation Letter is a form completed by an officer of a home improvement/general contracting company naming the individual(s) who are authorized to negotiate any contractual agreement for home improvement work. All applicants for a Basic Business License (BBL) for the Home Improvement Salesperson category must be associated with a licensed contractor. Said contractor must designate the applicant for the Home Improvement Salesperson category to work for the company. At least one Home Improvement Salesperson application must be submitted along with the application for a Home Improvement Contractor.
